Job Duties
The HR Specialist has a primary focus on managing the hiring process from start to finish including helping define job descriptions, manage job postings, source candidates, conduct candidate screening, organize and facilitate the interview process, handle onboarding new hires, manage employee records, conduct job offers and denials, and complete application tracking systems. In addition to these duties, the HR Specialist collaborates with the HR Department and department leaders to optimize HR processes and drive organizational success.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to
Recruitment and working with managers to identify hiring needs, developing job descriptions, and sourcing candidates through various channels.
Manage interview process including conducting screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
Background checks including verifying candidate information, including references and background checks.
Onboarding and providing orientation to new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to succeed.
Compliance and ensuring HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications

Strong organizational and time management skills necessary to be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to be precise, meticulous and thorough in order to maintain accurate records and effectively manage the full hiring process.
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with candidates and employees.
Knowledge and experience with data entry using Microsoft Office -Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
