Job Duties
The Pre and Post Awards Manager's role is to support the Sponsored Program functions of the College of Agriculture, with a strong emphasis on sponsored programs and grant program management.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong familiarity with Academic Affairs operations, as well as significant experience in sponsored programs and grant management. Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. This position closely partners with the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Minimum Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR ENTRY:
Strong understanding of principles, practices, and legal regulations with federal awards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Micrsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to maintain database for grant awards, contract and agreements.
Demonstrated ability to maintain grant sites.
Additional Considerations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in related field, focusing on sponsored programs, grant program management.
