Job Duties

Provide MT treatment to meet the psychiatric, social, emotional and physical needs of patients. Plan and implement MT treatment for the adult and geriatric patients. Ensure that all patients will receive the highest quality of care possible. This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency or facility need. All ESH positions are required to work different shifts and/or overtime as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate from a college or University with major studies in Music Therapy accompanied by experience that would meet the requirements for certification with the Board of Music Therapists (MT-BC).

Additional Considerations

Experience working with psychiatric patients in a clinical setting, in Music Therapy and in activity programs.
