The Administrative Specialist for CSMA will be responsible for providing administrative and business support functions (i.e., analyze and interpret data, track costs, develop reports, contribute to team efforts, order supplies and maintain inventory, enhance office efficiencies, answer questions, problem solve, prepare correspondence, maintain recordkeeping, etc.) for the CSMA staff. In addition, the administrative specialist may also serve as the primary program source between DMV and external partners, respond to inquiries such as Constituent Concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

- Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures, operations, and programs.
-Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office Products, and databases.
-Strong customer service skills, communication skills, administrative writing skills, grammar skills, keyboarding skills, and problem solving skills.
-Proven ability to independently perform complex administrative and leadership responsibilities.
-Proven ability to manage office processes and procedures.
-Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment and to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of program management processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data collection techniques, and program evaluation.
- Knowledge of the legislative process and ability to determine how new legislation will impact work processes.
- Ability to develop and implement procedures, guidance, analyses, and recommendations.
- Ability to manage and deliver on stakeholder expectations and lead teams to work toward a common goal.
- Ability to be resourceful, work independently, negotiate, problem-solve, gain stakeholder buy-in, and develop key relationships.
