This position provides care to geropsychiatric patients that conforms to care and treatment policies and procedures and demonstrates knowledge of population specific needs and competencies.
This position will maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment, work in all areas of food service which includes but are not limited to dishwashing, food delivery and tray assembly. Assist with special functions. This position is also responsible for following all health and safety guidelines established by all food service regulations no matter the agency.
To be success in this position, you will need to have the ability to follow specific instructions, lift heavy objects, bend, stand and walk for prolonged periods, work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold), and assist with orientation and training of new food service employees as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge in a program or application such as (food service, inventory system, yields, portion control and cost control)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform all aspects of the food service department to include tray line, food prep, and sanitation in a safe and efficient manner.
• The ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment used in food preparation.

• Experience in commercial / industrial food service operation preferred
• ServeSafe certified preferred
• Supervisory Experience preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Office preferred
