About the Role
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver new hire orientation and ongoing staff development programs.
- Facilitate required training, including but not limited to CPR, Therapeutic Options, Medication Administration, and Human Rights.
- Evaluate training needs and update curricula based on regulatory changes and workforce feedback.
- Monitor compliance with training requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise training staff and collaborate with internal departments to meet organizational goals.
This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency or facility need.
Skills and experience required:
We are seeking a candidate with experience in providing training and development to staff in a business or government environment. We also seek the following:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification or eligibility for certification as an AHA BLS, CPR, AED, and First Aid Instructor
- Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training technologies
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum design
- Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and manage training data
- Must have the ability to work weekends and holidays
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience in teaching clinical, non-clinical, and supervisory staff
- Knowledge of CMS (Centers for Medicare) regulations
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or HR Professional credentials (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
- Strong background with designing and implementing employee development programs
