Job Duties
Progressive experience with Joint Commission Standards and CMS Regulations related to Medical Staff Organization as it relates to credentialing and privileging. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with individuals internal and external to the organization and to work cooperatively with diverse cultural and ethnic groups. Must exercise extreme confidentiality. Current knowledge and skills in medical transcription. Must be dependable, flexible with work schedule, organized and able to multi-task. Ability to act in the capacity of essential personnel during emergency/crisis situations.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Administrative Offices Support work.
Experience with medical contract services.
Experience with credentialing and privileging of medical staff.
Additional Considerations
Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is preferred.
Experience with Joint Commission survey is preferred.
Experience in scheduling, medical contract services, and credentialing and privileging is preferred.
