Job Duties

Computer and various office machine experience. Basic Math skills. Knowledge of Medicaid patient fund policies.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

At least 1 year of experience in general accounting, including 1 year in accounts payable

Strong Excel, ERP/accounting software proficiency

Excellent attention to detail, vendor communication, and reconciliation skills

Knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare patient fund policies

Additional Qualifications:

Experience in Accounts Payable in a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility a plus

Knowledge of GAAP, CAPP, Prompt Payment Act, and relevant state systems a plus

Experience working in a Virginia state agency (VA, veterans care facility, health services) a plus

Familiarity with Cardinal, eVA Procurement a plus

Experience processing travel reimbursements, 1099 reporting, charge card administration a plus
