Job Duties

Ensures a positive and cohesive flow of patients in the medical clinic. Coordinates medical department internal schedules using computer software. Maintains professional and positive rapport with medical providers, security, and co-workers.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of medical terminology; medical transcription practices.
Familiar with standard medical records management.
Ability to perform confidential administrative and facility activities.
Excellent written, oral, and professional communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to research a wide variety of issues and compile findings in written reports and computerize spreadsheets.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply basic policies and procedures.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, effectively organizes work and manages multiple tasks/activities, meeting established deadlines.
Show attention to detail and accuracy. Good problem-solving and decision making skills.

Additional Considerations

Experience in a forensic mental health or comparable setting preferred. Experience working with Sex Offenders preferred.
