The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Senior Commercial Contract Manager.
Senior Commercial Contract Managers provide strategic oversight and governance for Virginia’s enterprise IT infrastructure contracts.
This work is essential in supporting executive branch agencies, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders, and promoting operational excellence across the Commonwealth.
As a Senior Commercial Contract Manager, you will uphold industry best practices in contract administration, negotiation strategies, and supplier relationship management. You will conduct contractual interpretation reviews upon request and supports the assessment of deliverables to ensure compliance and promotion of business value.
As technology services evolve, we proactively manage contract updates to reflect changing service levels (SLAs), emerging requirements, and the need for refreshed terms and conditions. T
This position works very closely and collaboratively with the Office of the Attorney General to ensure legal compliance and accurate interpretation of the Virginia Code.

Minimum Qualifications
• Experience working in a cross-functional organization.
• Technical knowledge and experience with service delivery functionality within a multi-supplier model.
• Expert level understanding of technology infrastructure service contracts and the methods employed to manage them within a multi-supplier model.
• Experience with contractual negotiations with a large financial impact.
• Ability to interpret procurement law and policies pursuant to VA Code.
• Former participation in RFI and RFP development in the procurement process.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make continual service improvements.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, including those with a quick turnaround.
• Ability to successfully work with diverse stakeholders, Suppliers and internal subject matter experts and build positive working relationships.
• Ability to create, analyze and reports with data driven metrics.
• Ability to create formal professional communication that are clear and concise.
• Ability to Conduct market research, price, cost analysis and identification of contractual consideration when necessary.
