Virginia State University is in search of a dynamic health services professional to fill the role of Nurse Practitioner in our Student Health Services department.
This applicant will provide quality health care and health promotion services to the VSU student body.
Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications must be met in order to be considered:
- Working knowledge of assessing, diagnosing and treating college age population.
- Ability to perform duties within the scope of practice as a Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Considerations
Experience in women’s and/or primary healthcare preferred.
Participation/leadership in professional associations such as the American Nursing Association preferred.
Evidence of current vaccinations or vaccination declination form and TB screening/test results
