Job Duties
The Office of Licensure and Certification in Richmond, VA is seeking wage Medical Facility Inspectors for the HCO (Home Care Organization) acute care team. This position will conduct onsite inspections and complaint investigations of HCOs. This position currently offers a sign-on bonus of $2,500 with a one-year written agreement for external candidates. This position will require travel and overnight travel.
Minimum Qualifications
• Specialized knowledge of health care systems and services, quality of care issues & health care administration
• Experience communicating orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and legally defensible manner; Experience managing multiple assignments independently.
• Experience assessing individual patient/resident medical care plans and outcomes, the overall quality of facility care and services, and to interpret and apply complex state/federal regulations to the findings
Additional Considerations
• Experience working with state regulations.
• Registered Nurse License (RN).
