The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the LTSS Screening Contract Monitor. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the Office of Community Living Division.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The chief objective of this position is to monitor, review, and analyze program activities of Long-Term Services and Supports Screenings conducted by screening entities across the Commonwealth and provide oversight of Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) CMS reporting.

This position ensures the adequacy and accuracy of LTSS Screenings by monitoring screening entities' fulfillment of contractual and regulatory obligations as set forth by the Virginia Code.

The position will analyze data and reports created through the Care Management Solution (CRMS) portal to gather facts, analyze findings, reach logical conclusions, and recommend solutions for potential areas of non-compliance.

This position will act as an LTSS Screening subject matter expert, providing technical assistance, education, and guidance to all screening entities and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

Considerable experience of Long-Term Services and Supports screening regulations as outlined in Federal and State Statues, as well as understanding of the Cardinal Care contract.

Considerable experience and understanding of the guidelines in the Long-Term Services & Supports screening manual.

Considerable experience of procedures/processes of Long-Term services & Supports

Considerable experience with technology, including Microsoft Office, Medicaid Enterprise System (MES), and Care Management Solution (CRMS) portal.

Considerable experience in reviewing and analyzing data trends without supervision.

Experience interpreting and applying federal, state laws, and regulations.

Considerable experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
