Job Duties
Knowledge of assessment and treatment in general and neurodevelopmental physical therapy, standards of practice at ICF/MRs, and effective resource management principles. Skilled in verbal and written communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Ability to lead and coordinate work of the physical therapy department, and cross-functional departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of requirements for a bachelors degree in physical therapy, licensed and certified to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and experienced at designing, implementing, and evaluating, assessment and treatment strategies in the domain of physical therapy.
Experience with neurologically involved, developmentally disabled patients is beneficial.
Previous professional Physical Therapy experience in a long term care or adult geriatric setting a plus.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
