Job Duties

Knowledge of basic vehicle operation, defensive driving principles, transportation safety practices. Knowledge of general maintenance, repair techniques, and proper use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies. Knowledge of infection control and safety standards applicable to a healthcare or residential environment. Skill in performing minor building repairs, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections of vehicles and facility systems. Skill in time management and prioritizing multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail. Maintaining accurate records, completing required documentation, and following established procedures. Ability to operate facility vehicles safely, including assisting residents in and out of vehicles in a courteous and professional manner

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Virginia driver’s license
Experience in transportation, maintenance or facility support a plus
Must have good driving record
