Job Duties:

Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to lead WWRC’s Behavioral Support Specialist Team Operations reflective of WWRC’s vision, mission, and governance policies, procedures, standards, and expectations. This position will also be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Support Specialist Team, including staff supervision and performance tracking, case assignments, and management of the menu of support services available to address behavioral issues on campus; the analyst will facilitate the behavioral analysis services offered at WWRC. The role also involves ensuring that clients involved in programs receive appropriate behavioral intervention services and documenting their progress within these services. The position is responsible for providing interventions and instruction on social and interpersonal skills, as well as psycho-educational and support groups, to address behavioral needs identified by a needs assessment of the WWRC campus. The position is responsible for promptly documenting interactions and services provided to clients and communicating these services, or their absence, to the Rehabilitation Team. The position is also responsible for monitoring and documenting the progress of the clients' caseload. Medicaid billing is not required for this position.

An alternate work schedule is available and will depend on the agency’s needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge:
Knowledge of characteristics of various emotional, physical, behavioral, and developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of social issues within a residential treatment or educational setting.
Knowledge and skills in behavioral analysis, and behavioral management principles and techniques.
Knowledge and experience in developing behavior support plans to address individual needs of consumers.
Knowledge and experience in providing therapeutic interventions to individuals with disabilities in relation to vocational goals.
Knowledge of leading psycho-educational and support groups in a residential setting.
Working knowledge of Windows based computer office software and similar software.
Understanding of case management within a vocational rehabilitation perspective.

Skills/Abilities:
Skills in observing and collection of data.
Skills in data entry, including working knowledge of office procedures, tracking systems, and work task organization.
Skills in working directly with people in an empathic manner leading to therapeutic learning experiences.

Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification Required for Entry into the Position:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

To maintain BCBA credentials, analysts must:

Obtain ongoing continuing education

Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s ethics and self-reporting requirements

Submit a completed recertification application and associated fees every two years before the recertification date1

Additional Considerations:

Experience providing behavioral therapy, or treating the individual needs of persons with physical, behavioral, substance abuse, emotional, or developmental disabilities.
