Job Duties
This position manages time and leave reporting for employees while complying with hospital instructions as well as state/federal guidelines. Responsible for accurate record keeping and initiating reports to meet critical deadlines established by Department of Accounts, Payroll and/or Supervisor. Maintain an automated leave system including shift differentials, overtime, workers’ compensation, compensatory leave, time adjustments, etc. Responsible for leave adjustments as required, e.g. workers’ compensation adjustments. Shared responsibility for site administrative functions for the UKG/Kronos timekeeping system.
Successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Must be flexible and able to adjust plans as needed when unexpected changes occur, such as delays or resource availability issues.
Confident in using various software solutions and handling data in different formats, we currently use UKG/Kronos software. Candidates must be able to enter tasks, dependencies, and resources accurately to create effective schedules and monitor timekeeping.
Effectively resolving disputes arising from scheduling conflicts. These skills are essential for candidates to ensure they can manage tasks efficiently and contribute to the overall success of their teams and projects.
Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Candidates must prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance to ensure smooth operations.
Effective communication is vital for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and payroll. Candidates need to convey information clearly and ensure everyone is aligned.
The ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues is essential. Candidates should be resourceful and creative in finding solutions to keep things on track.
A keen eye for detail will help the candidate and the team to ensure that all aspects of the schedule are accurate and that no critical tasks are overlooked.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience with payroll reporting requirements.
• Experience with data entry.
• Experience utilizing office equipment (i.e. copier, scanner, etc.)
• Experience with mathematical computations.
• Experience with the UKG/Kronos system.
