Job Duties

The purpose of the position is to ensure that the University maintains program integrity and compliance with federal and state regulations as it relates to federal Title IV and state aid programs as well as the Office of the Inspector General.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of Financial Aid software programs
• Knowledge of the Colleague system preferred
• Ability to make independent decisions and sound judgement
• Knowledge of federal, state and institutional aid regulations and requirements. Ability to apply knowledge, interpret and make decisions regarding the regulations
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to work well in a team environment, with a high degree of accuracy, courtesy, timeliness and structure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, patience and commitment to customer services
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration, Sociology or a related field. Prefer at least two years of experience working in a Financial Aid Office.
