Job Duties

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as Change Management Lead, which is in the Infrastructure Services Division.

This role will primarily lead and support organizational change management in a multi-cloud and multi-vendor environment as well as other initiatives that drive business success and improve employee adoption and engagement. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication, project management abilities and leadership skills, who can partner effectively with project teams, business leaders, cross-functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in the application of organizational change management frameworks and tools as well as experience with public and private cloud services. Characteristics include being passionate about enabling people through transitions driven by transformation, technology implementation, and process changes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans for cloud and other key initiatives. Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness evaluations.

Partner with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plans. Design and implement change communications, training programs, and reinforcement strategies.

Lead workshops and coaching sessions with leaders and teams. Drive end to end implementation of change by leading the effort as a project manager within the Cloud Infrastructure team.

Measure change adoption and effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed. Provide expert guidance to internal teams on change management best practices and co-facilitate change management training.

Minimum Qualifications

Considerable Experience with Change Management Methodology.

Considerable Experience in Project Management Principles.

Considerable Knowledge in Strategic Planning.

Considerable Experience in Meeting Deadlines.

Considerable Experience interpretation and application of Federal, State laws/Regulations.

Considerable Experience within Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google, and/or GitHub.

Considerable Experience with Excel such as creating pivot tables, dashboards, and complex spreadsheets.

Additional Considerations

Considerable Experience with Power BI.
