Job Duties
Receptionist/Fire Alarm Monitor. Answer multi-line phone, transfer calls to proper individuals. Monitor fire alarm system and the facility cameras. Assist residents, resident’s family members, guests and visitors.
Meal Tickets. Sell meal tickets to guest, family members and facility employees. Work with vending machine representative to receive refunds and disperse refunds.
Recordkeeping. Make initial record of cash received for employee meals. Responsible for keeping a daily log of activity going on for shift being worked. Give or receive report from guard or coworker. Receive daily mail, log all medication into the Pharmacy logbook and call the units to come pick it up and sign the medication release. Handles all vending machine transactions. Records all reimbursements and communicated vending issues to supervisor.
Other Duties- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the overall needs of the facility.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Minimum Qualifications
Computer experience
Basic Math skills
Knowledge of front desk operations including greeting visitors, answering phones, routing calls, and managing sign-in procedures.
Knowledge of basic office practices such as scheduling, filing, data entry, and document handling.
Knowledge of customer service standards in a healthcare or long-term care environment.
Knowledge of emergency procedures and visitor protocols within a skilled nursing facility.
