Job Duties
Develops and implements a statewide compliance monitoring plan; assists with the development and delivery of statewide technical assistance; serves as eligibility expert and function as a program content specialist; conducts on-site reviews, including site assessment and compliance reviews of workforce activities, services, fiscal and facilities; ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including compliance with requirements of WIOA, state and local policies and procedures, and compliance with WIOA uniform administrative requirements; ensures system building and continuous improvement; advises local workforce boards and their staff of issues; and makes recommendations to initiate immediate corrective action if areas of concern or non-compliance are uncovered.
Minimum Qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge of workforce program administration and diverse customer and community workforce needs; knowledge of local government finance systems.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret laws, regulations and policies and apply them to specific program areas; to conduct research, analyze information, develop sound conclusions and communicate findings; to identify program need, research possible solutions, and recommend changes.
• Demonstrated skills in monitoring techniques, working in a team environment, and use of Microsoft Office.
Additional Considerations
• Knowledge of WIOA administrative requirements.
