Your Day-to-Day Impact 

  • Strategic Leadership: Assist in managing the Driver Training Work Center's entire compliance program in coordination with Driver License Quality Assurance personnel 

  • Expert Analysis: Review compliance reports from DLQA Examiners and prepare comprehensive, well-reasoned responses for training schools, clinics, and testers 

  • Clear Communication: Interpret and explain complex regulations from the Virginia Motor Vehicle Code to diverse audiences—from frontline staff to business owners 

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Evaluate business processes, analyze compliance data, and provide recommendations that result in real improvements 

  • Relationship Building: Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, other agencies, and business partners to promote fair and uniform application of laws and regulations 

 

What You Bring to the Table 

Core Expertise: 

  • Extensive knowledge of public and business administration principles 

  • Proven ability to define compliance objectives and design effective procedures 

  • Strong analytical skills—you can evaluate workflows, spot issues, and reach logical conclusions 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to grammatical precision

  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
