Job Duties

This role is responsible for assisting in meal preparation, service, and kitchen hygiene to meet resident's specific dietary needs. They work closely with dietitians, nurses, and kitchen staff to ensure compliance with therapeutic diets and maintain food safety standards.

Shift Schedule- M-F and every other weekend. 11:30am-8:30pm

Minimum Qualifications

Food Preparation: This includes the ability to prepare meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions, using various kitchen equipment and utensils.

Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Must be knowledgeable about proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Knowledge of Nutrition: Understanding basic nutrition principles and dietary restrictions is essential for preparing appropriate meals for individuals with specific needs.

Operating Kitchen Equipment: Dietary aides need to be comfortable using various kitchen appliances and tools.

Additional Considerations

SNF or hospital setting experience preferred.
