Job Duties
The Grant & Fund Analyst performs advanced, professional-level work of considerable difficulty with agency-wide impact, including the analysis/interpretation of fiscal data and the application of accounting theory and principles. Duties include managing cash requirements, conducting detailed fund and revenue analysis, revenue reconciliations, corrective actions, and indirect cost allocations. The Grant & Fund Analyst position provides comprehensive grants management and fund accounting knowledge and support to ensure the Department's monetary assets are properly controlled, recorded, and safeguarded and that financial accountability is maintained.

Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of state and federal grant financial management and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of federal cash management requirements.
- Knowledge of federal time and effort reporting requirements.
- Experience managing processes and producing clear, relevant, auditable work products.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, with experience using database applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a professional environment.
- Experience working with diverse individuals to obtain information and accomplish tasks and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with Cardinal.
- Experience with the administration of a grant management database system.
- Accounting experience in state governmental accounting and federal grants. Experience with large, structured organization may substitute.
