Minimum Qualifications
• Expert knowledge of recruitment principles and EEO/ADA compliance in recruiting and hiring practices.
• Strong consulting, communication, and customer-service skills; able to partner effectively across all levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions and salary offer analyses.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment in sensitive matters.
• Experience creating and delivering employee orientations/training to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working independently and as a team member, and as an HR representative, generalist, or specialist in areas such as Recruitment & Selection and Compensation & Classification.
• Ability to partner with internal staff at all agency areas and levels to best serve internal and external customers, and to develop external relationships which advance the goals of HR and the agency.
• Ability to train others and optimize workflows.
Additional Considerations
• Advanced proficiency with COV systems such as PageUp and Cardinal.
• Expert knowledge of DHRM Policy 2.10
• Experience with public sector full life cycle recruitment and selection as well as compensation and classification principles.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, or other professional HR designation(s).
