Job Duties
The Visitor Services Assistant works in computerized touch screen point of sales systems and other platforms to sell ticket, annual passes, merchandise and other tasks to guests. They assist in greeting and educating customers, keeping VC/Store merchandise stocked, and assist in processing large groups and school groups as they arrive, visit and then shop. Some other clerical and store related duties may apply. Weekday and weekend work shifts, occasional evening or special event shift.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and verbal skills speaking with and interacting with all ages of visitors.
Ability to operate touch screen point of sale systems and other similar platforms, ability to use email, other platforms as needed.
Present a neat, professional and welcoming appearance.
Strong organizational ability and ability to multi-task on busy days while maintaining professional composure
Flexibility to attend to occasional unexpected tasks.
Dependable and strong work ethic
Additional Considerations
Previous customer service and retail experience is a plus.
Strong current work references required.
Ability to work some weekend days as needed.
