Job Duties

Directly responsible to the Trades Manager for providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents & staff. Conduct general maintenance work for the carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical shops by repairing and maintaining properly functioning equipment. PMs and WP Repairs for Retherm Units and Ice Machines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Experience in commercial: plumbing, carpentry, electrical fields.

• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing various types of plumbing, and electrical equipment and maintenance methods pertinent to the general building maintenance field.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and schematics.

• Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling is helpful or the ability to acquire within 12 months.

Additional Considerations

Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
