Job Duties

This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant for a one-year period ending on 9/30/2026. The availability of funding is scheduled for review before the grant expiration date and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.

The Program Support Tech Sr performs technical office tasks in support of one or more programs, continuously applying policy and procedures. Characteristic duties: serves as an expert contact and information resource for one or more programs; required to attend meetings and record meeting minutes; performs the most complex tasks for program services available in a health department or district; provides information to promote access to other services; serves as lead worker to direct, advise and train others; designs and directs workflow processes; researches and processes claims; gathers data and collects and prepares reports on program activities; develops, promotes and coordinates program activities; and may provide financial/procurement support as requested. Hybrid telework of 1-day a week will be considered after 90-days of on-site employment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of program operations, services, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to serve as an expert resource, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries.
• Experience in designing and directing workflow processes to enhance program efficiency.
• Ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Proficient in collecting, entering, and reviewing data for discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Ability to generate reports and interpret data to inform program activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with software applications and Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, and database entry) and general office equipment
