Job Duties
The Director of Auxiliary Services provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fiscal management for key auxiliary enterprises and administrative functions within the Department of Auxiliary Services. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services, the Director is responsible for overseeing Printing Services, Ticket Center operations, and Auxiliary Accounting while supporting broader operational and strategic initiatives within Auxiliary Administration.
This position ensures financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence of auxiliary services through effective leadership, financial management, assessment practices, and contract administration. The Director also provides high-level oversight for ticket operations related to university athletic events and major campus events, coordinates with campus partners to support game day readiness, and assists with licensing enforcement activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of principles of business administration, financial management, and organizational leadership
- Demonstrated knowledge in budget development, financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and accounting practices
- Experience in contract administration and vendor management practices
- Knowledge of operational management of revenue-generating services
- Familiarity in policy development and regulatory compliance within higher education or public sector
- Lead and manage multiple operational units effectively
- Proven ability to Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial and operational data to guide decision-making
- Build collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
