Job Duties

This position is wage/hourly and will work in-office Monday-Friday, during core business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no state benefits offered with this position. This position is authorized to work for a renewable, maximum of 1500 hours per year.

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) is seeking an experienced individual to provide administrative support to the Background Investigation Unit (BIU). This position will correspond with licensed providers to document the process of background results and assist in a variety of projects, to include maintaining databases and using data to compile and file appropriate reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge and skill in office organization and the use of Microsoft Suite Programs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organize tasks.
• Ability to initiate and maintain automated recordkeeping systems, including web-based applications.
• Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
• Experience with record management, data systems, or administrative practices.

Additional Considerations

• Previous experience working with background investigations or knowledge of background investigations processes.
