Job Duties

The Virginia Department of Veteran Services is seeking a part-time V3 Transition Resource Coordinator for the Veterans, Education, Transition & Employment (VETE) department. The V3 Transition Resource Coordinator (TRC) serves as the primary client-facing representative responsible for delivering timely, compliant, and outcome-driven transition and employment services to service members, veterans, and spouses. The role ensures rapid client engagement, accurate and audit-ready data management, consistent execution of service delivery, and measurable program performance aligned with DVS accountability standards.

Manage client engagement and documentation, including timely outreach, service delivery, CRM updates, data tracking, and maintaining audit ready records. Support transition and engagement activities by representing the program at military installations and events, delivering approved briefings, coordinating outreach, and providing on site customer service. Ensure accurate reporting, maintain equipment, follow SOPs and agency policies, and complete required administrative tasks such as surveys, metrics, mileage, and approvals. Perform additional duties to support program operations, continuous improvement, cross training, and agency events.

Minimum Qualifications

•Ability to manage multiple clients, programmatic activities and/or projects simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse constituencies and inter-agency government officials.
• Ability to identify and prioritize program performance and service delivery.
• Knowledge of database administration and/or a client relationship management system (CRM).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Prior experience providing training and instruction to adult learners.
• Knowledge of best practices on recruiting, hiring, and retaining military community.

Additional Considerations

Experience with a background in social service, business, public administration, education or combination and job experience. Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration. Experience presenting to a variety of audiences.
