Job Duties
Manages clinical nutrition system to ensure optimum nutrition for all residents.
Interview new admissions
Develop initial nutritional care plans and reviews them quarterly
Attends resident care conferences. Ensures that all areas in the care plan are being carried through.
Has a basic understanding of operations of the Food Service Department.
Knowledgeable of budget controls, personnel actions, quality food production, sanitation, safety and nutritional care, hiring, terminations, orientating, training, and counseling of department employees and work schedules.
Role is to support the Food Service Director when necessary
Enter all budget figures, menus, nutritional information and dietary notes.
Trains Dietary Service Program Assistant in entering budget figures, menus, resident care and dietary notes
Works with the Food Service Director in purchasing, production and service of food in a timely manner. Assists in purchasing supplies and equipment
Performs other duties as may be assigned that are within Dietary department’s mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in clinical Dietetics
Certified Dietary Manager required
Driver’s License required
