Job Duties
To coordinate and schedule admissions to ESH through coordinating with the CSBs and AOD/MOD office. Reviews referral/admission documentation for accuracy and completeness. This includes Civil, Forensic, Adult, and Geriatric admissions. Communicates with the CSBs to record notification calls for the CSB log. Provides data entry for new admissions into the required databases and completes necessary admission paperwork and documentation into the EHR. Maintains secure storage for patient valuables. This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency, pandemic, or facility need. All ESH positions are required to work different shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays, and/or overtime as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
• Current Virginia license to practice as a Registered Nurse or license eligible; multi-state compact endorsement accepted.
• Previous RN experience is required.
Additional Considerations
• Experience in psychiatric admission coordination, extensive experiences working in the mental health field including direct service to mental health patients and interacting with CSBs.
