Job Duties
The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the healthcare setting. This role is responsible for direct patient care tasks, assisting medical providers, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping coordinate patient services while promoting a safe and patient-centered environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and documentation standards.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work effectively with diverse populations.
Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and general office technology.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred/required.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Additional Considerations
Prior clinical experience in an outpatient, primary care, or specialty setting is preferred.
