Job Duties

The Budget Analyst Senior position serves as a lead analyst working with the Office of Information Management team, overseeing the development and execution of the annual and biennial operating budgets for assigned Offices and Health Districts. Promotes financial integrity within the agency by conducting financial analysis, expenditure trend analysis, program reviews and development of executive presentations concerning budget issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues; conduct policy, budget, performance; analyze, develop recommendations; interpret and project fiscal and programmatic data
• Work and communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and deadlines
• Ability to investigate data, information, conclusions and recommendations
• Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel Access, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of VITA billing processes and IT fiscal projection

Additional Considerations

• Previous work experience analyzing and preparing budget documents for a large agency with a complex budget and accounting system.
