Job Duties
We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents at our Care Center. This role is essential in supporting resident well‑being and ensuring our facility meets all sanitation and infection control standards.
Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm. 5 days a week and every other weekend. (including holidays)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with facility policies and cleaning schedules.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Dispose of trash and biohazard waste safely and properly.
• Follow all infection control procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or room condition issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and periodic sanitation tasks.
• Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and safe manner.
• Provide respectful and courteous interactions with residents, families, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, supplies, equipment, and safety practices (training can be provided).
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or long‑term care preferred but not required.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Considerations
Previous long-term care, geriatric, or hospital experience preferred but not required.
