Job Duties
This position will perform a wide variety of office services and secretarial support services to the food services department. Performs other duties in food and nutrition support services including records management, employee scheduling, and utilization of automated systems related to meal service and food cost, compiling data and formatting reports and documents as well as maintaining departmental files.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to: communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with representatives of outside agencies, all levels of the organization using tact, courtesy and good judgment; understand and execute oral and written instructions, policies and procedures;
Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities;
Ability to work independently, set priorities, effectively organize work and manage multiple tasks/activities and meet established deadlines
Effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Skilled in operating office equipment, including but not limited to, personal computers and peripheral hardware, software and automated Food Service Systems.
Skilled in utilization of manual and automated filing systems.
Demonstrates the ability to use appropriate grammar, punctuation, and business etiquette.
Skilled in communicating effectively with staff, internal and external customers, vendors, visitors, etc.
Able to retrieve and format data for report preparation in compliance with deadlines.
Able to process and maintain confidential information.
Ability to write reports and routine correspondence; effectively present information and respond to questions
Demonstrated ability to interact in a professional and therapeutic manner
Additional Considerations
Experience in a forensic mental health or comparable setting preferred. Experience working with Sex Offenders preferred.
