Job Duties

The Registration Coordinator supports the administration of the hemp regulatory program by managing registration and licensing processes for hemp product retailers, s. This position ensures accurate documentation, timely processing of applications, and high-quality customer support to stakeholders participating in the hemp program. The Registration Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining compliance-related records, supporting regulatory workflows, and ensuring smooth and efficient program operations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Knowledge of administrative practices, customer service, and document management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory or licensing processes preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret basic regulatory requirements and explain them clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with office software, databases, and electronic filing systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, program coordination, or regulatory processing.
  • Experience working with databases, electronic forms, or recordkeeping systems.

 

Additional Considerations

  • Associate degree or higher in business administration, agriculture, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a regulatory, compliance, or government agency environment.
  • Experience in agricultural programs or hemp/cannabis-related industries.
  • Experience with case management systems, CRM platforms, or licensing databases.
