Job Duties

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a CSRM Program Coordinator with the Commonwealth Security and Risk Management (CSRM) Division.

This position supports CSRM's operational effectiveness by ensuring the administrative, event coordination, platform administration, and data management functions that underpin the division's programs are consistently and reliably executed.

By maintaining the operational infrastructure that allows program and leadership staff to focus on mission-critical security work, this position directly enables CSRM's outreach, education, and governance programs to function and contribute to VITA's cybersecurity mission across the Commonwealth.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience coordinating events, meetings, or programs in information security, cybersecurity, or IT governance environment.

Experience executing end-to-end logistical processes for on-site and off-site events or meetings, including scheduling, materials preparation, on-site support, and post-event documentation.

Experience planning and executing events or programs from initiation through post-event follow-through, including materials development, attendee management, and CPE or certification tracking.

Experience publishing and maintaining content on SharePoint, T4, or a comparable content management platform, including updating pages, posting materials, and ensuring site accuracy.

Experience with Section 508 accessibility standards and WCAG requirements as applied to digital documents, presentations, and published content, including PDF and Microsoft Office file formats.

Experience with Microsoft 365 including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, as well as Adobe Pro.

Experience coordinating with internal staff and external contacts across multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience supporting procurement activities in accordance with Commonwealth of Virginia procurement policies, including completing required forms, coordinating with vendors, and managing travel authorization and reimbursement documentation.
