Seeking a Circulation/Publication Clerk to support our mission of empowering individuals through quality rehabilitation services by managing library inventory, processing Braille materials, maintaining the KLAS system, and assisting with educational service resources.
Job Duties:

The Division of Services will provide a quality program of individualized rehabilitation services, educational consultation, technical assistance, and instruction that will empower eligible individuals to achieve their desired levels of independence consistent with their abilities and informed choices.
We are seeking a Circulation/Publication Clerk to enhance the library's circulation inventory through the utilization of an inventory database, which employs barcodes to accurately identify the medium, copy, and title of materials. This system is designed to maintain literature, catalogs, and information for both new and existing patrons, as supplied by the National Library Services.
Additionally, it encompasses the reception and shelving of Braille materials, the updating of the KLAS system, and assistance in the maintenance of educational service materials.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Circulation Inventory
- Inventories and Reports
- Mail and Deliveries
Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Completes duties and/or projects as needed or directed by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Training/Experience:
• Training and experience in Storekeeping.
• Training and experience in Inventory Control.
• Experience with computer software, and automated databases.
• Training and experience in shipping and receiving.
Knowledge:
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control Systems.
Skills:
• Problem-solving with routine issues skills.
• Data entry skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
Ability:
• Demonstrated ability to work in a labor-intense warehouse environment.
Additional Considerations:
• Experience working in a library, resource center, or related field.
• Equipment handling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to keep records.
Special Instructions:
