Job Duties

General Summary: The paralegal plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal support to attorneys and legal teams. This position involves performing various legal tasks, conducting research, managing case files, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents and court filings. The paralegal has the experience to work with minimal supervision.
Essential Duties:
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, analyze findings, and prepare case summaries for attorneys.
• Draft and revise various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other requests.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies.
• Assist with trial preparations.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external parties under attorney guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of current legal developments and changes in laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
• In-depth understanding of legal principles, procedures, and terminology.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of specific practice areas relevant to the organization is a plus.

Additional Considerations

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Completion of a paralegal certificate program preferred.
