The Science Museum of Virginia seeks a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide general grounds maintenance and upkeep across the Science Museum campus to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff. This position will provide facility maintenance, and grounds assisting with a wide variety of building and campus wide maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting other departments as required.

The individual in this position serves as the receptionist and customer service specialist within the department, serves as the administrative assistant to the department Chairperson, and assists faculty and staff in other daily operations. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Chair of the Department of Nursing and Allied Health and collaborates closely with the Office Business Manager.
