Job Duties
The Division of Capitol Square Services (DCSS) is responsible for the leasing and property management of Department of General Services (DGS) owned, multi-tenanted office buildings at the seat of government and the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of real estate throughout the Commonwealth. DCSS is also responsible for the establishment of standards and assignment of office space to agencies, departments and institutions at the seat of government in buildings owned or leased by DGS. DCSS is responsible and shall maintain all DGS owned buildings and grounds.
Minimum Qualifications
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with legislative bodies, government officials at all levels, the public, and private sector companies.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people, including tenants, vendors, contractors, and employees both verbally and written
• Knowledge of procurement policies and contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additional Considerations
• Contract Administration experience
• Journeyman or Masters card in electrical, HVAC or building trades preferred, or a combination of extensive experience in one or more trades and building management supervision.
