Job Duties


The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, and demonstrate proficiency in accounting basics, bookkeeping, and financial software. This role will provide crucial support across three fiscal functions: Accounts Payable, Records & Data Maintenance, and Financial Reporting.

This position primarily performs routine fiscal work within prescribed guidelines; interpretation and discretion are limited. Characteristic duties: prepares and processes vouchers, IATs, bills, activity reports and encounter forms. Keys and batches financial data and invoices for payment, balances financial reports, verifies coding, provides information to vendors for payment, writes and issues checks, reconciles accounts and purchase orders with vouchers, posts financial transactions. Follows up on billing denials, researches, corrects and resubmits. May perform related non-fiscal administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures and apply knowledge of policies and procedures in day-to-day work
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, purchasing systems and related procedures
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications and various database and software
    programs
  • Experience working with external vendors (suppliers, contractors, and other service providers)




Additional Considerations

  • Experience with state accounting and purchasing policies, procedures, or similar systems
  • Experience processing vouchers for organizational expenditures.
  • Experience with small purchase credit card
  • Experience with processing employee travel
