The Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services, within the Department of General Services (DGS), is always looking for talented scientists and support staff with diverse skills who can help fulfill our laboratory's mission.
Our mission is to promote a healthier, safer world through quality laboratory service. As such, the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DCLS) provides high quality and responsive analytical testing, consultation, training, quality assurance, certification and research for the Commonwealth of Virginia, other States, and Federal Agencies.
The diversity of services provided by DCLS to our customers, creates an environment where our Division seeks personnel with a variety of occupational skills including but not limited to customer support, management, training, quality assurance, safety, chemistry, microbiology, molecular, administrative, public health informatics, newborn screening, and fiscal management. DCLS continues to strive for innovation, creative solutions, developing new programs, and building partnerships at the local, state, and federal level.
As the state public health and environmental lab DCLS provides support for local, state, and federal partners with the mission to promote a healthier, safer world through quality laboratory service.
