The Assistant Director is a full-time position within the Norfolk State University Office of Global Learning and International Programs (GLIP). The position reports to the Director of GLIP. The NSU Office of Global Learning and International Programs is the institutional unit charged with leading and facilitating NSU’s comprehensive internationalization efforts. Comprehensive internationalization at NSU is the strategic and integrated approach to all activities that make up Global Learning and International Programs throughout the university.
These activities include:
Education abroad and faculty/student exchanges
International student and scholar services
International student recruitment and enrollment
International contracting and technical assistance
Area, international and/or foreign language studies
Internationally oriented faculty and curriculum development
International institutional linkages
Internationally oriented community and outreach activities
International education research |

standards, and have experience in one or more of the following areas: substance
