This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position for Dual Enrollment courses for High School Students. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall and spring and summer. Postings close yearly on January 31; to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year. The faculty member teaches full-time classroom and clinical instruction for Associate's degree nursing students; assesses clinical education needs, utilizing a variety of methods. This position reports to the Department Chair of Nursing.

The Instructor/Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction and related activities. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, program recruitment, serving on various college committees, and participating in professional activities and organizations. The professor is responsible for performing assigned teaching duties during designated times. The duties will be preformed at the Jackson campus, but will include travel to affiliate locations as needed. The professor will operate under the supervision of the Radiologic Technology Program Director and the Dean of Health Sciences and Nursing and in cooperation of other stakeholders. Other stakeholders include the RADT Program Advisory Committee, Jackson State Community College and all relevant accrediting bodies.
