Students who are eligible for work-study positions have an opportunity to gain valuable work experience by working in various campus departments. Students will develop basic career preparation skills that will prepare them for professionalism in the workplace. The Information Security Specialist provides security-focused support to users and leads key security initiatives for the TBR Central Office and TBR institutions, while operating under the direct guidance of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role is responsible for incident monitoring, collecting metrics, generating detailed security reports, and conducting security-related audits as needed. The specialist manages the operation and maintenance of security infrastructure, evaluates, recommends, and implements approved new technologies and innovations, addresses and resolves reported information security issues. As the College’s official liaison to SACSCOC, the Director will coordinate all required reports, submissions, substantive changes, and accreditation visits. The Assistant Vice Chancellor collaborates with institutional leaders, faculty, and external partners to support innovation and excellence in higher educational programming and demonstrates a personal commitment, with assistance from TBR leaders, to devote time to growing and developing as a leader and a colleague. The salary range for this position is $99,612 - $126,829, depending on experience.
