Academic/Student Support Associate 5 -- Dual Enrollment Dickson
The Academic/Student Support Associate 5 – Dual Enrollment assists the K-12 Pathways Coordinator with various duties related to dual enrollment students. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with collecting, organizing, filing and checking dual enrollment paperwork and data; entering and verifying student data in an internet-based information management system; attending college and career fairs in the service area; scheduling and conducting tours; assisting with front desk coverage; updating forms and documents, and other duties as assigned. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is not a remote work position.

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Accessibility & Digital Compliance Specialist – McMinnville Campus (Part-Time) The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - McMinnville is accepting applications for the part-time position of Accessibility & Digital Compliance Specialist for the McMinnville Campus. POSITION INFORMATION: Position Type: Part-Time Hours: 15 hours per week Compensation: $25 per hour Work hours are flexible; however, this is not a remote position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS •Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution; related experience may substitute where appropriate. •Basic knowledge of document software (Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, PDF tools). •Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. •Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive truck with trailer and operate forklift equipment safely. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS •Experience with digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 or later, Section 508). •Experience reviewing or completing VPATs. •Familiarity with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, screen magnification tools). •Experience in higher education, government, or compliance-focused environment. •Knowledge of learning management systems and web content management systems. GENERAL DUTIES: The Accessibility & Digital Compliance Specialist ensures institutional materials, technologies, and digital resources meet accessibility standards and support equal access for all students, employees, and community users. The position reviews documents and electronic content, completes and approves accessibility documentation (including VPATs), supports IT accessibility efforts, and assists with records scanning and related administrative tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Digital Accessibility Compliance •Review electronic documents, web content, course materials, and multimedia for accessibility compliance (WCAG and Section 508 standards). •Remediate or coordinate remediation of inaccessible PDFs, Word documents, presentations, forms, and media. •Provide guidance and training to faculty and staff on creating accessible content. •Maintain accessibility checklists, procedures, and institutional documentation. VPAT Review and Approval •Evaluate software and technology purchases for accessibility compliance. •Complete, review, and approve Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs). •Coordinate with vendors to obtain accessibility documentation and clarifications. •Maintain institutional records of VPATs and accessibility evaluations. •Provide accessibility recommendations during procurement and technology adoption. IT Accessibility Support •Collaborate with Information Technology staff to ensure systems meet accessibility requirements. •Assist with testing websites, applications, and platforms using assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, color contrast tools, etc.). •Help troubleshoot accessibility barriers reported by students or employees. •Support implementation of accessibility improvements in learning management systems and institutional software. Document & Records Support •Perform document scanning and digital file preparation. •Ensure scanned materials meet accessibility and readability standards (OCR processing, tagging, structure). •Maintain organized electronic records in accordance with institutional procedures. Additional Responsibilities •Assist with accessibility-related projects and reporting. •Support compliance with ADA, Section 504, and Section 508 requirements. •Serve as a campus resource for accessibility questions and referrals. •Perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, fiscal year permanent position within the Department of Advising and Career Services, reporting to the Director of Advising and Career Services. This position provides comprehensive academic guidance and advising services to student veterans on policies, procedures, and program requirements to fulfill a certificate or degree program. The incumbent will support student veterans in developing academic goals and educational plans, including certifying educational benefits to help them achieve those goals as they transition at various points throughout their academic career at Southwest. This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. The standard shift times are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position primarily reports to the Maxine A. Smith Center. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours.

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of the department at the Dickson campus including, but not limited to: financial aid, student records, student counseling, job placement, admissions and recruiting. The Student Services Coordinator directly supervises the Assistant Student Services Coordinator and members of the department at the Dickson Campus and the South Campus including approving leave requests and conducting performance evaluations. Travel to all campus locations will be required on a regular basis. This full-time position reports to the Vice President of Academics and Compliance and is based at the Dickson Campus. Facilities Support Associate 4, Clarksville Clarksville
The Facilities Support Associate 4 performs building maintenance and related work as required in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, painting, carpentry, and HVAC. During inclement weather events or emergency maintenance situations, facilities personnel may be called in to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with a fixed schedule to be set after employment begins. Some travel and work at satellite campuses may be required.

The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field of auto mechanics. The Automotive Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates and other administrative duties. Facilities Maintenance & Grounds Technician Winchester
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville is accepting applications for a full-time Facilities Maintenance & Grounds Technician to support the Franklin County Extension Campus. Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, this position performs routine custodial duties, basic building maintenance, and seasonal groundskeeping to ensure campus facilities and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
