Nutrition & Food Service Training Instructor
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Elizabethton is accepting applications for the full- time position of Associate Instructor in Nutrition & Food Service Training, a remote learning program.
GENERAL DUTIES: The Nutrition & Food Service Training Instructor is responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to, teaching and supervision of students online; maintaining confidential, accurate and complete records on paper and electronically; complete reporting as required in a timely manner; participating in the continued development of the program, recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; maintaining an active advisory committee; and other duties as assigned. Reinforcing knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment as a Dietary Manager in foodservice. Instructors are responsible for best educational practices and the academic development of each student. Instructors monitor and reports student progress, manage classroom environment, and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, provide support, tutoring and other assistance as needed. Instructors model the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.
This position reports to the Vice President of Instruction. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a minimum of 37.5 hours per week at an approved campus work site for instruction of a remote learning program.

Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with students, faculty, staff, the general public and business/industry representatives.
SALARY: $55,157-$66,188 per year ($28.29-$33.94 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology -- Elizabethton guidelines and directly related to experience.
